I love shelves in the kitchen, as long as they don't look cluttered or give that sterile look. These stylish shelves (above) have used pieces that are not only practical but organised and displayed so effortlessly.
Effortlessly is not quite the case for me. Design elements do not come so naturally to me.
For starters, the shelving area desperately needs to be painted but I we wanted to put the shelves up first to make sure they look right (fix up the holes later) and partly because I am so impatient and wanted the shelves UP.
Hubby has put up two shelves in the kitchen and did a great job now it's my job to work out how to add the right pieces without it looking too much, not enough colour or what hell was I thinking??
